Carteck is the trade name used by Teckentrup of Germany, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of quality garage doors.
The German-made Carteck door is a finely engineered 40mm thick insulated sectional garage door. The individual sections are made from fully finished steel with a rigid foam core. Rubber seals between the interlocking sections and deep rubber seals all the way round the edge make it draught-proof, as well. Carteck sectional doors can be manual or electric with remote control.
The Carteck sectional door is available in white or any of three woodgrain colours (Rosewood, Dark Oak or Golden Oak). Any RAL colour of your choice is available at extra cost - price on request. The picture above shows Golden Oak doors in one of the Ribbed design options.
Carteck sectional garage doors come with a steel three piece goalpost frame which fits onto the rear surface of the brickwork opening. The counterbalance springs fit in a slender steel housing above the horizontal tracks, well out of harms way.
Headroom requirement - 115mm (manual or Auto).
Sideroom requirement - 82.5mm
The door shown is the Georgian Panelled Door in Golden Oak woodgrain finish. This has a 10 years manufacturers warranty. The deeply embossed panels give a well defined quality appearance.
The door shown in the picture is the Carteck Georgian in White with square lattice glazing option.
New from Carteck, June 2011, is the side-hinged range of doors manufactured from the same panels as the sectional door, but built into a neat side-hinged door set. Multi-point locking rubber seals and stainless steel door furniture make this door a cut above the rest. Various feature glazing options available.
